Short Biography:
St. Philomena (291-304) was a young Greek princess martyred at the age of 13 for her refusal to renounce her vow of virginity. Despite being subjected to cruel tortures, including being shot with arrows and cast into the sea with an anchor, she was miraculously spared by divine intervention. Her relics were discovered in the catacombs of Priscilla in 1802, and her powerful intercession has since led to countless miracles, making her a beloved saint and patroness of the youth.
