Short Biography:
St. Paschal Baylon (1540–1592) was a lay brother of the Franciscan Order, born in Spain. Though uneducated, he possessed deep spiritual wisdom and intense love for the Eucharist. Known for his humility, charity, and mystical experiences during Adoration, Paschal was a defender of the Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament during the Counter-Reformation. He was declared patron of Eucharistic congresses and societies by Pope Leo XIII.
