This luminous digital portrait honors St. Norbert (c. 1080–1134), Archbishop of Magdeburg and founder of the Premonstratensian Order (Norbertines). Clad in a radiant white habit, he holds a golden monstrance, symbolizing his fierce devotion to the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Framed in an ornate medieval border with sculpted saints and theological motifs, the image shows twin abbeys behind him—representing both his birthplace in Xanten and his community at Prémontré. His gaze is resolute, and beneath his image is inscribed his motto: "Prepared for every good work."

Short Biography
St. Norbert was a nobleman who underwent a dramatic conversion after being thrown from his horse during a lightning storm. Renouncing his worldly life, he became a priest and itinerant preacher. In 1120, he founded the Order of Canons Regular at Prémontré, emphasizing communal life, poverty, and Eucharistic devotion. Later appointed Archbishop of Magdeburg, he reformed clergy, defended orthodoxy, and upheld the doctrine of the Real Presence during Eucharistic controversy. He died in 1134 and was canonized in 1582.
