$5.00

This warm and contemplative digital portrait honors St. Leopold Mandić (1866–1942), a humble Capuchin friar and one of the Church’s most devoted confessors. Clad in his brown habit and framed by golden filigree, he holds a rosary, a crucifix, and an open Book of Confessions, symbolizing his lifelong mission of reconciliation and mercy. The glow of his golden halo and the shadow of a confessional in the background remind us of the sacred intimacy between sinner and Savior.

Short Biography
Born in Montenegro to a devout Catholic family, Leopold entered the Capuchin Franciscans and became a priest known for his deep humility and incredible patience in the confessional. For over 40 years, he spent up to 15 hours a day hearing confessions in Padua. Despite suffering from poor health, he radiated spiritual strength. His dream of reuniting the Eastern and Western Churches never came to fruition in his lifetime, but he offered all his suffering for that intention. He was canonized in 1983 by Pope John Paul II.
