Bring the fierce faith and radiant courage of St. Joan of Arc into your home with this ultra lifelike digital portrait. Rendered in award-winning realism and framed in ornate Catholic calligraphy style, this image captures the young maiden of Orléans in full armor—steadfast, serene, and crowned with the golden halo of sanctity.

Set against a medieval castle and soft Renaissance skies, St. Joan holds her banner with the fleur-de-lis—the symbol of France and her divine mission. This print is a visual homage to her role as both mystic and military leader, a saint who followed God’s call even unto martyrdom.
St. Joan of Arc (1412–1431), known as the "Maid of Orléans," was born in Domrémy, a small village in northeastern France during the devastation of the Hundred Years’ War. At the age of 13, Joan began receiving visions of St. Michael the Archangel, St. Catherine of Alexandria, and St. Margaret of Antioch, who instructed her to drive out the English and support the dauphin Charles VII.

Despite her youth and lack of formal military training, Joan's conviction and holiness inspired an army and turned the tide of war. She led French troops to a miraculous victory at the Siege of Orléans, clearing the path for Charles VII’s coronation at Reims.

Joan was later captured by Burgundian allies of the English, put on trial for heresy, and burned at the stake at just 19 years old. Twenty-five years later, she was declared innocent in a retrial. She was canonized in 1920 by Pope Benedict XV, and today she remains one of the most beloved saints of the Church and a national heroine of France.
