Short Biography
Born into Italian nobility, Francis Caracciolo gave up wealth and privilege after a miraculous healing from a skin disease. Ordained a priest, he co-founded the Clerics Regular Minor with a mission of humility, prayer, preaching, and perpetual adoration. He spent hours in Eucharistic prayer and promoted devotion to the Real Presence throughout Italy. Known for his zeal, gentleness, and deep interior life, he died young at 44 and was canonized in 1807. He remains a patron of Eucharistic renewal and holy priests.
