Enter the tender mystery of Christ’s mercy through this radiant portrait of St. Faustina Kowalska, the humble Polish nun chosen by Jesus to proclaim His message of Divine Mercy to the world.

In this sacred image, St. Faustina is shown in serene contemplation, clothed in her black habit with a radiant golden halo crowning her sanctity. She holds a rosary and wears the image of the Divine Mercy near her heart, symbolizing her deep union with Christ’s mercy. A flowering garden and convent frame the background, evoking the peace of her spiritual mission.

This artwork captures both her simplicity and profound mystical union with Jesus, making it a powerful visual devotion to the message: “Jesus, I trust in You.”

Short Biography:

St. Faustina Kowalska (1905–1938) was a Polish mystic and member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. In obedience to Christ’s command, she recorded her experiences of divine visions in her now-famous spiritual diary, Divine Mercy in My Soul.

Through her, the devotion to the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the Divine Mercy image, and Divine Mercy Sunday (the Sunday after Easter) was revealed to the world. Despite her hidden and humble life, she became the “Secretary of Divine Mercy” for all souls, emphasizing trust, confession, and compassion.

She was canonized by Pope St. John Paul II in 2000, who also established Divine Mercy Sunday as a universal feast.
