This richly detailed digital artwork depicts St. Ephrem the Syrian, the 4th-century deacon, theologian, and hymnographer known as the “Harp of the Holy Spirit.” Seated at a scriptorium, St. Ephrem is shown with a quill in hand, surrounded by sacred symbols: books of theology, a candle of wisdom, and a memento mori skull. A golden halo and descending dove evoke his divine inspiration and the purity of his sacred writings.

Clothed in ornate vestments and bathed in light, this portrait captures the depth of his spiritual legacy and profound contributions to early Christian theology and liturgy.
