Saints Victor & Corona | Martyrs of the Early Church

Catholic Digital Art Download

$5.00

This luminous and reverent digital portrait depicts St. Victor, a Roman soldier, and St. Corona, a young Christian woman, who gave their lives in martyrdom during the early centuries of the Church. Framed in a richly detailed border inspired by medieval iconography, the pair stand beneath the light of heaven—Victor armored in Roman military garb, sword at his side, and Corona robed in white and green, clasping a golden cross. Behind them, the ruins of the Roman Empire fade into the dawn of the eternal kingdom they now inherit.

Short Biography
St. Victor was a Christian soldier in the Roman army who was arrested for his faith. While being tortured, a young woman named Corona, witnessing his courage, proclaimed her own Christian faith. For this, she too was executed. Their relics were later discovered and venerated in Europe, particularly in Germany and Northern Italy, and they have been honored together as patrons in times of plague, hardship, and fidelity under trial. Though their exact history is shrouded in early Christian legend, their witness continues to inspire.
